Therapists in Centennial, CO

My Denver Therapy’s Greenwood Village office sits on Arapahoe Road near the Centennial city line, which makes it the closest group practice of its size for most Centennial residents.

Licensed therapists conveniently located near Centennial

Our team of 20+ licensed therapists offers individual, couples, teen, and child therapy in person at 9600 E Arapahoe Rd, Suite 220, and online anywhere in Colorado. Appointments are usually available within a week.

Centennial is a city built around the commute and the calendar. You might be managing a team at one of the corporate campuses along the I-25 corridor, running kids between Cherry Creek schools and weekend tournaments, or working from home in Willow Creek or Piney Creek and realizing you have not spoken to another adult about anything real in weeks. Life here looks organized from the outside. Therapy is where the rest of it gets room.

What our Centennial clients come to therapy for

Centennial residents reach out to us most often for anxiety, burnout, marriage and couples work, parenting stress, and support for teens. The common thread is high-functioning people who have been holding a lot for a long time.

Anxiety and burnout. The tech, finance, and healthcare employers around Inverness and the Denver Tech Center run on long hours. We see a lot of professionals whose anxiety has become the background noise of their lives, and we treat it with approaches that work on the nervous system, including somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR, alongside CBT and ACT where they fit.

Couples and marriage counseling. Many Centennial couples come to us after years of running a household like a logistics operation and losing the relationship underneath it. Our therapists are trained in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, and we also offer premarital counseling using the SYMBIS assessment.

Teens and kids. Cherry Creek and Littleton Public Schools students carry real academic and social pressure. We work with teens on anxiety, depression, self-harm, and identity, and with younger children through play and sandplay therapy. Parents are part of the process.

Trauma. For clients working through a single event or a lifetime of smaller ones, our EMDR-certified and Brainspotting-trained therapists offer trauma treatment that resolves what talk therapy alone often cannot. For treatment-resistant depression and trauma, we also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, a service featured on CBS Colorado.

Getting to our office from Centennial

Our Greenwood Village office is at 9600 E Arapahoe Rd, Suite 220, on the north side of Arapahoe Road between I-25 and Peoria. From Southglenn or the Streets at SouthGlenn area, it is a straight shot east on Arapahoe. From Willow Creek, Foxridge, and the neighborhoods near Centennial Center Park, most clients are here in under ten minutes. From Piney Creek and Smoky Hill, Arapahoe Road west brings you directly to us.

There is free parking at the building, and evening appointments are available for clients coming from work along the I-25 corridor.

If a drive does not fit your week, every one of our therapists sees clients online across Colorado, and many Centennial clients alternate between in-person and telehealth sessions.

Why Centennial residents choose My Denver Therapy

We are a therapist-owned practice with four offices, 20+ licensed clinicians, and more than 100 years of combined clinical experience. That depth means you are matched to a therapist who actually specializes in what you need, rather than whoever has an opening.

Our therapists bring modalities most practices near Centennial do not offer: EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, somatic attachment therapy, Gottman and EFT for couples, DBT, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. We also have a psychiatric nurse practitioner on staff for medication management, so therapy and medication can be coordinated in one practice.

We are out-of-network and provide superbills for reimbursement, with sliding-scale options for clients who qualify. There are no intake or administrative fees. Our clinical director, Courtneyrose Chung, LMFT, LPC, LAC, has been featured by CBS Colorado for the practice’s work in ketamine- and psilocybin-assisted therapy.

Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn’t you – all of the expectations, all of the beliefs – and becoming who you are.
