Arizona Online Teletherapy

Our Arizona therapist Taylor Damitio provides online therapy for teens, adults, and couples.

Teletherapy with an Arizona therapist

For many people, online teletherapy is just a more convenient and comfortable way to meet with a therapist. While My Denver Therapy is one of the largest therapy practices in Colorado, we also have therapists licensed to provide online teletherapy in Arizona. If you’ve been looking for an Arizona therapist online and haven’t found the right fit, we can help you start therapy from the comfort of your own home.

Because everyone’s time is valuable, online video therapy sessions can be a better fit for many people’s lives, including working professionals, parents, and people living in rural parts of a state where options are limited. Our therapists offer secure, private therapy sessions that you can join from a laptop, phone, or tablet—anywhere you have internet access.

Many research studies have shown that online therapy and teletherapy can be just as effective as meeting with a therapist in person. With our decades of combined therapy experience and everything that was 2020 and beyond, our therapists have equal amounts of experience meeting with clients online as they do meeting with clients in person. For us, online teletherapy is the same experience as it is meeting in person.

As therapists, we want to make sessions convenient for our clients. While our therapists meet with hundreds of clients in Colorado in person, we also meet with clients in Arizona, California, and of course, Colorado online. If you’ve been looking to start teletherapy, including teen therapy and couples therapy, in Arizona, we can help you get started quickly with our therapist Taylor Damitio.

Why choose online therapy in Arizona?

Many of our teletherapy clients in Arizona are busy with families, working from home, or live in rural areas. Also, meeting with a therapist online can help remove a part of your commute to and from an office. Even though our physical offices are located in Colorado, our Arizona clients continue seeing our therapist Taylor Damitio because of her commitment to her clients and personalized therapy plans.

For people going to therapy for the first time, teletherapy can often feel less intimidating—no waiting rooms, no running into people you know, and you can feel safe and comfortable taking the session from home or a private area at work.

Also, online therapy options have dramatically improved over the past few years. People are more connected than ever, with devices that provide a better online experience with therapy. As a result, therapists can use the same methods that they’d use with clients in person, and studies have shown that many people are more comfortable at home than they are in a therapy office.

When you’re looking for an online therapist in Arizona, we can save you time by connecting you with one of Arizona’s best online therapists.

Originally from Tucson, Taylor strives to foster therapy that is led by the client and founded on an honest relationship between a counselor and client. Now living in Denver and working as a full-time therapist, she provides a space for clients to acknowledge who they are and determine goals that can help shape who they want to be.

She brings authenticity and understanding to each of her online teletherapy sessions and encourages her clients to do the same. By creating space for clients to cry, to be angry, to laugh, and be as they are from the comfort of their own home or office, Taylor takes great care to create empathetic connections and pushes her clients to think through other perspectives that nurture a deeper understanding of oneself and their environment.

Her interest in counseling began at a young age and stems from her love of reading. A natural curiosity led her to pursue a career in mental health. Taylor is now a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), Licensed Associate Counselor (Arizona), and a National Certified Counselor. She has completed two levels of training in Gottman Method couples therapy, and her therapeutic style is based in Person-Centered, Existential, and Solution-Focused approaches. In Denver, she sees the majority of couples therapy clients and clients with relationship issues.

Taylor attended the University of Arizona and earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Master’s in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling. She has been intentional about learning best practices for working with individuals and couples from a wide range of cultures. She continues to educate herself as her career progresses and the world changes.

As an Arizona native, Taylor works with individualscouples, teens, and adults to tackle challenges and emphasize positive changes as defined by their goals.

You can contact Taylor directly or include her name in your request.
