Counseling in the Denver Metro area

My Denver Therapy is one of the largest, woman-owned therapy private practices in Colorado. With three offices in the Denver Metro area, our team of therapists provides counseling in Denver, Lone Tree, and Greenwood Village. We can also provide online teletherapy for people living in Colorado, Arizona (with our therapist Taylor Damitio), and California (with our therapist Allie Evans).

After COVID, many counselors and therapists in the Denver Metro area switched to online or teletherapy only, but we’ve found that about 85% of our clients prefer to meet with a therapist in person. As a result, we provide in-person counseling throughout the Denver Metro area, and our therapists love being parts of their communities and seeing their clients in our offices.

If you’re looking for in-person Denver Metro area counseling options, we almost always have therapists who are accepting new clients. We know that it’s impossible for one therapist to specialize in everything, so we have a team of therapists with different specialties—including anxiety, depression, trauma, couples, teens, and families. When you contact our therapists at My Denver Therapy, we can save you time by matching you with a therapist who specializes in you.

Many of our founding therapists see clients in Greenwood Village. We have multiple therapists in Greenwood Village trained in EMDR for trauma therapy, couples therapy, and help many clients of all ages work through narcissistic abuse, postpartum depression, and low self-esteem issues.

Counseling in Denver

Centrally located off I-25 and Evans, you’ve probably seen our Denver counseling office right off the freeway at 4155 E. Jewell Ave. #405 Denver, CO 80222. Our Denver office was previously on Colorado Blvd, but we recently moved to our new location that helps our clients avoid local rush hour traffic coming from I-25.

To support our clients living in Denver, our therapists in Denver see the widest range of clients out of all of our offices. Our office includes both male and female therapists with different experience, training, and specialties. From couples therapy to trauma therapy, parent counseling to eating disorders, our Denver counseling team is here to help adults, teens, and couples in a convenient location near where they work or live.

Meet our therapists

My Denver Therapy has become one of the largest therapy private practices in Colorado with many of the best mental health therapists in the Denver Metro area.

As a therapist-owned practice with over 100 years of combined experience, we care about seeing you heal, grow, and thrive. We’re one of the only therapy practices in Colorado with licensed professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, addiction counselors, social workers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners who actively see new clients in person and online.

Whether you’re an adult, teen, young adult, couple, or family, our inclusive therapist team is built to specialize in clients of all ages, faiths, backgrounds, and life experiences.

Because our client-centered approach that meets you where you are, we’ve helped thousands of people in Colorado by providing in-person therapy at our conveniently located Denver Metro area counseling offices in Denver, Greenwood Village, and Lone Tree, plus online therapy for clients throughout Colorado. Our therapists also provide consultation for other therapists and private practices throughout the Denver Metro area.

To support you and your mental health journey, our therapists are trained in some of the most innovative, effective, and in-demand forms of therapy available today, including EMDR, Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, and IFS.

We know that you want to find the best therapist in Denver for you, so our team includes therapists of different ages with a wide range of backgrounds, specialities, and experiences to help you find the right match for your goals, location, budget, and schedule.

We’re out of network for insurance, Tricare, and are unable to take Medicaid or Medicare, but most of our therapists’ rates are lower than the local and national averages for therapy. Also, we don’t charge separate intake or administration fees or charge more for specialized therapy methods like EMDR.

All of our therapists take a client-focused approach to counseling and approach each session with a commitment to your progress and growth. When you’re ready to meet your therapist, we’re here to help.
