Colorado LPC, MFT, and LAC
individual and group supervision
Get clinical supervision from an experienced therapist
My Denver Therapy offers individual and group clinical supervision to candidates working towards licensed professional counselor (LPC), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), and addiction counselor (LAC and CAC) licensure in Colorado. We value your personal and professional growth, developing skills, and provide insights to help you become a licensed professional in the mental health field.
We currently have supervisors for LPCCs and MFTCs: Allie Evans, Leigh Anne Hague, John Hague, and Courtneyrose Chung. Not only have they been foundational to My Denver Therapy becoming the fastest growing private practice in Denver Metro area, they are also some of the most requested therapists and LPC/LMFT group supervisors anywhere in Colorado. They’ve worked in private practices, community mental health facilities, and residential treatment centers, and most importantly, they’ve collectively helped thousands of clients.
Allie, Leigh Anne, John, and Courtneyrose have built relationships with some of the best known mental health and community organizations throughout the Denver area. For years, they’ve had full caseloads with long waitlists of clients who come to them for trauma, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, couples counseling, life transitions, family counseling, and more. Among other therapy methods, they frequently use EMDR to help clients with trauma.
Allie is one of the best IFS and teen therapists in Denver, and she’s also an AAMFT-approved supervisor. Leigh Anne is our most versatile and experienced therapist, provides EMDR consultation, and is one of the few therapists in the Denver area who excels at seeing clients of all ages and life stages. John has spent over a decade working as a therapist and working with couples, men, and adolescents. As the founder of My Denver Therapy, Courtneyrose is one of the most requested trauma therapists in Denver, an AAMFT-approved supervisor providing “supervision of supervision,” can also supervise LAC candidates, and also provides private practice consultation for licensed therapists.
Most importantly, after getting individual and group supervision from one of My Denver Therapy’s supervisors, candidates have become licensed therapists and started their own successful private practices and launched their careers as therapists.
Why our group supervision is different
You’ve likely found that it’s difficult to find quality LPC group supervision in and around Denver from an experienced therapist who is actively working in the field and has the training and clients you want to pursue one day. You might want to work at a private practice one day, or get a specific type of training.
Many therapists and LPCC supervisors in Denver are extremely specialized, which can make it difficult for them to understand your current cases. Others are no longer actively seeing clients on a regular basis or only have experience working in specific types of work environments that don’t apply to what you’re looking to do.
All of our individual and group supervisors for LPCCs and MFTCs actively work as therapists and have current clinical skills that separate them from the many Colorado LPC supervisors who only see a few clients per week. Allie, Leigh Anne, John, and Courtneyrose consistently have seen over 30 clients per week for years, and they’ve built their caseloads to match their skills over time, not just by taking insurance or Medicaid. They’ve also helped supervised interns for their counseling practicum sites.
By receiving group supervision from a licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist supervisor, or AAMFT-approved supervisor who actively works with clients in one of the fastest-growing private practices in Colorado, you’ll build upon your education and experience from someone who has the counseling experience you’re looking for.
