Marriage counseling in Denver

Find what your marriage needs through couples therapy and relationship counseling.

Whether you call it marriage therapy, couples therapy, Or relationship counseling, we help marriages

Whether you’re facing challenges in communication, intimacy, or overall satisfaction, couples therapy can provide valuable tools for strengthening your marriage and overall relationship. At My Denver Therapy, we believe that a successful therapy journey involves a collaborative partnership between you, your partner, and an experienced couples therapist.

In marriage counseling, we work with both partners to help find the help you need, and the good news is that up to 90% of couples find marriage counseling to be helpful. Some couples are looking for a therapist to act as neutral third party to work as a mediator. Others want a therapist who can ask the hard questions and find answers to them. Whether you know what you’re looking for, or you need help with that first step figuring out how to work on your marriage, our marriage counselors work with you and your partner to create a plan that works for you and your marriage.

While some consider marriage counseling and couples therapy to be the same, we see it differently. Marriage counseling can often include many factors that go beyond the two people in the relationship—including kids, finances, work, blended families, friendships, intercultural challenges, and family dynamics. We have experienced couples therapists who understand that a marriage can come with more than what’s on the surface of the relationship, and we work with you and your partner to open lines of communication and create an environment that welcomes honesty and respect.

Our couples therapists provide marriage counseling in Denver, Greenwood Village, and Lone Tree. Whether you’ve been married for a year, are looking for premarital counseling, or have been married for 30 years, our therapists are here to help.

Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn’t you – all of the expectations, all of the beliefs – and becoming who you are.
